Organizations today continue to seek new and effective ways engage motivate their workers. Gamification is an emerging means for enhancing employee engagement motivation at work. Self-leadership a comprehensive self-influence process that has the potential help employees find meaning purpose from jobs. This paper develops presents conceptual model of relationships between gamification, self-leadership, valued workplace outcomes. The suggests gamification elements trigger multiple self-leadership processes states interact in multiplicative fashion leading state self-concordance which individuals perceive close alignment work tasks personal interests core values. serial mediation helps explain how why operates through mediating mechanisms effect important individual organizational Future research directions implications proposed are also discussed.
